I was brought in as the Brand and Creative Design Lead to essentially address two main opportunities for Kinsa.

Brand strategy and strategic development

Kinsa had established itself as a leading smart thermometer brand, but was moving towards fully embracing its emerging identity as a B2B SaaS insights business to embrace its mission of “stopping the spread of illness.” Over the course of the next 18+ months I led Kinsa’s design, marking, and leadership teams through a comprehensive brand development process to address key business opportunities.

Design team leadership and vision casting

In addition to brand development, the objective was to establish the brand and creative function as a strategic partner that works to align all work and process around strategic objectives. I was responsible for building the team, cultivating a creative culture, establishing processes for the team to do its best work, and creating a collaborative environment with marketing, development, and the executive leadership team. I was also responsible for recruiting, hiring, and managing internal team members and external contractors.

Outcomes

Kinsa has successfully entered and seized the Healthcare and IPC (Illness Product Companies) markets and established itself as a comprehensive illness solutions company to some of the largest pharmacy retailers and illness product manufactures in the world.

“Trusted by our families. Made for yours.”

We are a passionate team united in our mission to stop the spread
of infectious illness all over the world.
